Evaluations and Therapy

Consultation

We offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your child’s needs and determine if a speech evaluation is necessary. This is a great opportunity to learn about our services, ask any questions you may have, and get answers from our team. We’re here to help guide you through the process and explore the best options for your child’s speech therapy journey.
Comprehensive Speech & Language
Evaluation
Our comprehensive speech and language evaluation is a thorough process designed to assess your child’s communication needs. The evaluation may include some or all of the following: a case history, parent interview, standardized testing, an oral motor examination, language sample, clinical observation of social skills and observation of feeding and drinking. Following the evaluation, you will receive a detailed report with personalized recommendations and goals if treatment is warranted. We make it a priority to include your family’s priorities when creating goals, ensuring the therapy plan is both effective and meaningful to your child’s daily life. This in-depth process helps us identify areas of concern and develop a customized therapy plan tailored to your child’s specific needs and goals, ensuring the most effective approach to their care.

Speech & Language Treatment

At our clinic, we encourage parents and caregivers to sit in on therapy sessions, as this helps promote the generalization of learned skills and allows you to stay involved in your child’s progress. Our sessions are offered through various options to suit your needs: telehealth sessions for the convenience of participating from home, off-site sessions at your child’s school or home, or in-person therapy at our clinic in Woodland Hills. We strive to make each session fun and energetic, incorporating your child’s interests to ensure that learning is both engaging and motivating. Our goal is to create a positive, enjoyable experience while targeting meaningful skills to support your child’s development.
Feeding Therapy
Our feeding therapy program is designed to help picky eaters discover new foods in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Using the evidence-based Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach, we guide children through gradual steps to feel more comfortable with food exploration. Our team also works closely with families, providing personalized strategies to empower them in supporting their child's unique journey toward positive eating habits.
Myofunctional Therapy
We provide specialized myofunctional therapy focused on improving the function of the muscles in your face, lips, tongue, and jaw. Our therapy addresses concerns such as improper oral habits, swallowing difficulties, and breathing issues, promoting optimal orofacial function for overall health and well-being
